Donate Airline Miles

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our airline partners and their members, the Make-A-Wish Foundation was able to grant thousands of travel wishes last year. Frequent fliers donated hundreds of millions of miles to fulfill travel wishes. We estimate that more than one billion frequent flier miles will be needed to grant each child's travel wish this year. The Duck Race kicks off with fun and entertainment for the whole family at 12 noon. This is the largest fundraising event of the year for Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Northern Nevada, which grants the wishes of children in our community who face life threatening

medical conditions.

As always, this year's event will feature great food, music, family fun, and of course, the spectacle of 15,000 rubber ducks racing the Truckee River. The ducks will race at 4:30 p.m. and the first 10 ducks over the finish line win a prize for their "adoptive" parents.

Adoptions are will be available at local businesses including Bank of America and Safeway and at events around northern Nevada
